Schuh´s review - FIA GT Spa 24h 2005

Sebastian Schuh has again created a great review of the now classic 24 Hour race in Belgium . Indeed, it is far more than a review of that one race as the book charts the entire 2005 FIA GT season. Schuh had previously done a commendable review of the 2003 season in a CD-only version. The new product is available in print. It contains a staggering total of 600 photos in its 171 pages, with many shots taken by some of the leading photographers covering the series.

There is an hourly review of the great race, albeit the text is wholly in German. There are ample quantities of statistics covering the Spa 24 as well as all the sprint rounds of the series. Indeed, the stats pages alone (which are shown in English) are worth the price of admission. There is more information there than even yours truly can comprehend at one sitting — even complete chassis by chassis coverage. Moreover, it is all done with clarity and finesse.

Capping off the effort are some fine closing comments by the current FIA GT champion. The book has the official sanction of the series organizers and has been eagerly awaited by all the participants and followers of the series. It is highly recommended.
