Good things take their own sweet time and Sebastian Schuh has demonstrated this with an excellent review of the 2003 FIA GT season. Produced on a CD, it was only recently published and is limited to 350 copies. Schuh is currently finishing up the 2004 version. Fans of the series are advised to quickly snap up the rest of the first edition and place their orders for number 2.

Through words, data, and an excellent supply of photos, Schuh weaves the
tale of the year of Messrs. Biagi and Bobbi. The CD loads onto a PDF platform and is very easily navigated. It begins with a fine foreword by Andrea Piccini.

The main body begins with photos of each and every car that completed during the season, complete with its race-by-race results. The next section consists of short Rennberichte for each event. These are only available in German, but as they are brief, anyone with a rudimentary knowledge of the
language will fare quite well.

Photos are sprinkled liberally throughout the narratives, and indeed everywhere on the CD. Schuh has demonstrated exquisite taste in his selection. These aren't merely the "cars in corners" shots that everyone posts (although there are fine examples of those). Rather, he has painted a first-rate photo essay combining action and ambience at each of the series' venues.

dailysportscar's own David Lord is a significant contributor of images.

A copious appendix covers not only the basic points standings, but
graphically charts the progress of the championship during the season.
There is extensive data on each car, including such arcane matters as the
total distance that each completed through the year.

Sebastian has provided an excellent and easy way to review the year when
the Ferraris, Saleens, Listers, and Vipers converged to provide an excellent season of GT racing. The colorful supporting cast of N-GT Porsches and Ferraris receive equal billing. The CD is highly recommended to those wishing to complete their sports car racing library. It is truly a case of "hurry up while supplies last." There is also much to look forward to with the CDs for 2004 and 2005.
